Flowers are amazing gifts from God.  You don't realize how beautiful and delicate they are until you get a little closer.  You don't think they are growing, much less will flower, and then, one day, you wake up and see a beautiful flower.  That's how I believe this is the current state of our market.  Take for example the cactus.  The photo above is a typical scene right now all over south Texas as many cacti are in full bloom.  It's a treasure that you cant easily miss, but should stop, notice, and take advantage of, because in a few months everything will be a lot drier.

Our market continues to plug along.  It's slow for some, busy for others, and about the same for the rest.  It appears slower, until you see a lot of oilfield employment.  My survey of market participants indicates cautious buyers and sellers as the econmy is still of concern for many.

I'm still amazed how Live Oak, McMullen, Karnes, and Bee Counties basically have the same population for the past 50 years.  Why?  I believe we live in one of the best kept secrets in the US.  I expect this part of the state will grow substantially in the next 50.

If you're interested, you can have emailed more property & real estate articles including new reports about the San Antonio market, deer leases, and agricultural tax exemptions.  Check out the email info section of my website for other information you can have emailed directly to you.

Adios,

Richard
